Bone up on your trivia, because Battle of the Brains is coming to Gillett.
The Gillett Diamond Club’s trivia contest encourages team-building, fun and competition at its family-friendly fundraiser, scheduled at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 8, at the Gillett Ambulance Garage, 225 W. Park St.
Cost is $10 per person, with teams comprised of up to eight people. Family, friends, co-workers, neighbors or club members are encouraged to form teams to compete. Individuals are also invited to participate and will be placed on teams for the event.
Preregistration is appreciated. To register, e-mail gillettdiamondclub@gmail.com or pick up a registration form at Gillett Secondary School.
Anyone bringing a nonperishable item for the community food pantry will receive bonus points.
Light refreshments will be available for purchase, and bucket raffles, 50/50 raffles and an auction will take place. Cash prizes will be awarded.
The Gillett Diamond Club is a nonprofit organization that organizes youth baseball/softball in the Gillett area. The club’s objective is to teach the fundamentals of sports while instilling the values of hard work, teamwork, sportsmanship and physical fitness in area youth.
