Feb. 12 Deputies logged 18 incidents, including the following: Human Services - Authorities assisted with a male who was reported to be cutting himself on Swede Town Road in Oconto. Crisis response worker and program director were also contacted. Civil Matter - Authorities assisted a landlord on state Highway 32 in Townsend with an issue regarding a tenant. Traffic Miscellaneous - Authorities investigated a report of vehicles speeding on Main Street in Lena. Probation Violation - Authorities assisted Wisconsin Probation and Parole with a probation violation on Ogden Road in Peshtigo. Information - Authorities received information from Marinette County Sheriff’s Department of a vehicle that possibly had drugs in it traveling on U.S. Highway 141 southbound from Iron Mountain, Michigan. Feb. 11 Deputies logged 33 incidents, including the following: Welfare Check - Authorities visited a home on state Highway 32/22, Gillett, after an alarming e-mail was sent to an employer regarding suicide. Disturbance - Authorities responded a report of a fight between two brothers involving weapons on Columbia Street in Oconto Falls. Citizen Assist - Authorities assisted a 28-year-old woman after she hit her head and was feeling dizzy on state Highway 22 and Younger Road in Lena. Accident - Authorities investigated a report of a snow plow that hit a parked truck while plowing on Spring Brook Road in Oconto. Burglary - Authorities investigated a report of a vacant home that was broken into and ransacked on County Road H in Gillett. Feb. 10 Deputies logged 24 incidents, including the following: Fire - Authorities investigated a vehicle fire on U.S. Highway 41 and Brookside Road in Oconto. Burglary - Authorities investigated a report of two backpacks found on County Road R in Suring by the gate of a seasonal property. Burglary Attempt - Authorities responded to a building on Deer Hill Road in Gillett where someone tried to gain entry by breaking a back porch screen and window. Escort - Authorities assisted a caller with an attempt to retrieve personal belongings from a home on Brookside Road in Abrams. Burglary - Authorities investigated a break-in at a building site on Michael Circle in Gillett. Stolen items were valued at more than $5,000. Feb. 9 Deputies logged 11 incidents, including the following: Traffic Miscellaneous - Authorities investigated a report of a vehicle traveling northbound in the southbound lanes on U.S. Highway 141 in Abrams. Welfare Check - Authorities checked a person who lives on Ball Park Road in Little Suamico who left St. Vincent Hospital after receiving medication that could impair the person’s driving. The person was advised to stay at the hospital. Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of a vehicle driving back and forth for hours on Lade Beach Road in Little Suamico. Alarm - Authorities investigated a report of a boathouse door alarm on White Potato Lake Road in Pound. Alarm - Authorities investigated a first-floor motion alarm on North Maiden Lake Road in Mountain. Feb. 8 Deputies logged 26 incidents, including the following: Burglary - Authorities investigated a report of a burglary on County Road V in Gillett. Accident - Authorities responded to a one-vehicle rollover on state Highway 64 and Mountain Lake Road in Mountain. Ambulance - Authorities assisted a 71-year-old man who fell and was unable to get up on Red Maple Lane in Townsend. Citizen Assist - Authorities assisted with an intoxicated person at a home on County Road EE in Abrams. Assist - Authorities assisted a mother whose 17-year-old son in Lena was required to attend a court-ordered appointment in Merrill. The father refused to transport the teen half way. Feb. 7 Deputies logged 29 incidents, including the following: Noise Disturbance - Authorities responded to a complaint of loud noise coming from a field on Melissa Boulevard in Little Suamico. Traffic Hazard - Authorities investigated a report of a vehicle that was broken down in the lane of traffic. An intoxicated person and a small child were in the car on County Road EE and E in Abrams. Accident - Authorities responded to a one vehicle rollover with two people injured on Geano Beach Road and County Road S in Little Suamico. Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle parked at the end of a driveway on North Maiden Lake Road in Mountain. Disturbance - Authorities investigated a report of a mother who took a 16-year-old from a home without permission on Midway Road in Lena. Feb. 6 Deputies logged 27 incidents, including the following: Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of a suspicious van with its lights on parked on Superior Avenue in Oconto. Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of kids sitting on the overpass on Allen Road in Little Suamico. Illegal Burn - Authorities investigated a report of black smoke coming from County Road EE and Oak Orchard Road in Abrams. Drugs - Authorities investigated a report of someone who came to the alternative school on Main Street in Lena with marijuana. Citizen Assist - Authorities assisted a woman who retrieved belongings from an ex-boyfriend’s home on Whiffen Lane in Mountain.
