A pretrial conference was held for Lashawn D. Campbell, 22, Oconto. He pleaded not guilty to felony charges of second-degree reckless endangering safety-domestic abuse and two misdemeanor charges, which allegedly occurred Jan. 27 in Oconto. A $5,000 cash bond continues. A bond hearing is scheduled March 9.
A waiver preliminary hearing, status conference and arraignment were held for James A. Kellogg, 49, Gillett. He pleaded not guilty to a charge of felon possession of a firearm, which allegedly occurred Dec. 4 in Gillett. A $500 cash bond continues. A pretrial conference is scheduled April 9.
A plea and sentencing hearing was held for Timothy D. Buchert, 35, Gillett. He pleaded no contest to one felony charge of burglary of a building or dwelling (sentencing is suspended for two years), possession of narcotics (read in and dismissed) and two misdemeanor charges from Sept. 18 and 23 in Maple Valley. On the misdemeanor charges he was sentenced to 16 months in jail. He is to have no contact with the victim, maintain absolute sobriety and must enroll in and follow up with Libertas.
A sentencing hearing was held for Daemon P. Hasster, 18, Suring, on two charges of burglary of a building or dwelling as party to a crime and three counts of theft-movable property (special facts) as party to a crime from Feb. 9 and 21 in Mountain and Brazeau. He was sentenced to 13 years incarceration and 13 years extended supervision. A Marinette County case was consolidated into Oconto County, and he was sentenced to 15 years incarceration and 15 years extended supervision, to run concurrent. He received credit for 357 days. Restitution totaling $19,782.45 is due during incarceration and extended supervision, along with court costs of $528 and Department of Correction fees. He may not have contact with the victim or co-defendant, must seek employment, maintain absolute sobriety and complete alcohol and other drug abuse and cognitive thinking programs, assessments and aftercare.

An initial appearance was held for Janae Tress Kellogg, 17, Gillett, on felony charges of injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle, injury by use of a vehicle-party to a crime and reckless driving causing great bodily harm, which allegedly occurred Jan. 11 in Lena. The court set a $2,500 cash bond. An adjourned initial appearance is scheduled March 12.
An initial appearance was held for Charles M. Stuart, 24, Gillett, on felony charges of battery of a peace officer and three misdemeanor charges, which allegedly occurred Feb. 21 in Underhill. The court set a $5,000 signature bond. An adjourned initial appearance is scheduled March 12.
An initial appearance was held for Christopher R. Link, 30, Oconto, on felony charges of driving or operating a vehicle without consent, repeater, which allegedly occurred Jan. 16 in Pensaukee. The court set a $2,500 cash bond. An adjourned initial appearance is scheduled March 12.

An initial appearance, waiver preliminary and arraignment were held for Travis J. Krueger, 40, Pulaski, on felony charges of OWI (fourth within five years)-alcohol fine enhancer, operating with PAC (fourth within five years)-alcohol fine enhancer. He pleaded not guilty to both counts. The court set a $1,000 cash bond. A pretrial conference is scheduled April 9.
An evidentiary hearing, final pretrial conference and plea hearing were held for Kyle K. Sydor, 25, Oconto. He pleaded no contest to charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, second offense, and reckless driving causing bodily harm from May 8 in Oconto. A charge of injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle was read in and dismissed. A $10,000 cash bond was revoked. The court will allow Huber work release and furlough for childbirth for up to one week, but he cannot leave the state. A sentencing is scheduled April 8.
A status conference was held for Donald L. Tappa, 39, Oconto, on charges of arson of a building, two counts burglary, one count theft, two counts of burglary of a building or a dwelling, two counts theft movable property ($5,000-$10,000) and two counts criminal damage to property, which allegedly occurred Aug. 23, 2010, and Nov. 19, Dec. 24 and 25, 2013, in Oconto. A $100,000 cash bond continues. A motion hearing is scheduled May 1.
