Suring to honor seniors at banquet

The 33rd annual Suring Senior Honors Banquet, sponsored by the Suring Lions Club, will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, April 20, at Red Maple Golf Club. The seniors recognized for attaining a 3.0 grade point average or higher through seven semesters are Carly Christensen, Grant Fischer, Lakken Flynn, Brooke Gauthier, John Haure, Hunter Kopatz, Mackenzi LaMarre, Brianna Manecke, John Philippi, Mikaela Reed, Jade Schneider, Michael Schneider, Zoey Shay, Breanna Tienor, Amber Trudell, Creo Van Bellinger and Joshua Vollmar. Dave Collins, retired educator and Marinette & Oconto Conference commissioner, will be the featured speaker. Forensic selections will be performed by various Suring High School students. Parents, school staff and community members are encouraged to attend. Tickets are available from the Suring High School office by calling 920-842-2182, ext. 225. Tickets cost $13 per person and should be purchased by April 10. Checks should be payable to the Suring Lions Club.
