Thomas J. Konczal, 70, of Gillett, died on April 20, 2015. He was born on June 5, 1944, to the late Jerome and Rose (Baranski) in Chicago, Illinois.
Thomas and Patricia (Biondo) were united in marriage on March 21, 1964, in Crown Point, Indiana. Thomas worked for many years as an auto mechanic; he took pride in fixing anything that was broken. He enjoyed taking long rides on his Harley motorcycle with his wife, traveling and camping. He loved his dogs, especially Anna.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 51 years, Patricia; their children, Richard (Cary) Konczal, Janet (Mark) Habina, Ronald (Carol) Konczal, Michael Konczal; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis Konczal; sister, Shirley Larus; nieces, nephews and many friends.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Kander.
Private family services will be held.
