A sentencing hearing was held for Kristine M. Agamaite, 37, Oconto Falls, on a felony charge of possession of narcotic drugs Dec. 21 in Oconto Falls. Sentencing was withheld two years, and she was placed on probation two years. A charge of manufacture with intent to deliver THC and three misdemeanor charges were read in and dismissed. The court ordered an additional $1,000 for restitution, plus court costs and fees. She must complete and follow through with AODA and Compass programming and maintain absolute sobriety.
A sentencing hearing was held for Travis J. Krueger, 40, Pulaski, on felony charges of OWI (fourth within five years), alcohol fine enhancer, which occurred Sept. 11, 2014, in Sobieski. A sentence of three years incarceration was imposed and stayed, and he was sentenced to extended supervision three years to run concurrent with a sentence in Shawano County. He must participate in AODA and any other treatments and follow through recommended by the Department of Corrections and maintain absolute sobriety. The court read in and dismissed a charge of operating with PAC (fourth within five years), alcohol fine enhancer.
A sentencing hearing was held for Earl F. Cornelius, 39, Green Bay, on six counts of failure to support a child (120-plus days) from Oct. 1, 2011, to Sept. 30, 2014, in Oconto. On counts 1, 2 and 3, he was sentenced to 18 months incarceration, with 176 days credit, and two years extended supervision. Each count is to run consecutively. The court read in and dismissed three counts of failure to support a child (120-plus days). He must cooperate with Oconto County Social Services, gain full-time employment, take any assessments and follow through deemed necessary, and maintain absolute sobriety.
A preliminary hearing was held for Rodney G. Enneper, 45, Oconto, on 13 felony charges: child enticement-sexual contact (four counts), first-degree sexual assault of a child under 12, first-degree sexual contact with a person under the age of 13 (two counts) and second-degree sexual assault of a child (six counts), which allegedly occurred from 2005-2014 in Oconto County. A $250,000 cash bond continues. An arraignment is June 29.

An initial appearance was held for Kennedy P. Courchaine, 50, Oconto Falls, on a felony charge first-degree child sexual assault, sexual contact with a child under 13, which allegedly occurred June 1 and Aug. 30, 2014, in Pensaukee. The court set a $25,000 cash bond. A continued initial appearance is June 11.

A final pretrial/plea was held for Gage M. Giese, 20, Gillett. He pleaded no contest to a felony charge of a sex registry violation April 24 and Oct. 24 in Oconto. A $2,500 cash bond continues. Sentencing is Aug. 7.
A plea hearing was held for Cody J. Ford, 21, De Pere, on a misdemeanor charge and a felony charge of child abuse recklessly cause harm, which allegedly occurred Sept. 4 and Nov. 1 in Chase. He pleaded not guilty to both charges. A $1,000 cash bond continues. He also has a pending Door County case. Sentencing is Aug. 7.
An adjourned initial appearance was held for Kagen A. Whiting, 20, Suring, on felony charges of second-degree sexual assault of a child (three counts), which allegedly occurred April 11 in Bagley. A $30,000 cash bond continues. A preliminary hearing is June 18.
A sentencing was held for Brooks L. Polczinski, 21, Oconto Falls, on one felony charge of causing a child 13-18 to view sexual activity and one charge of fourth-degree sexual assault, which occurred on or about Oct. 25 in Spruce. A sentence of two years probation was withheld, and he received 45 days credit for jail time. His sentence is to run concurrent to a pending charge in another county. He is to have no contact with the victim or minor females except incidental or family members. He must have HIV testing and Compass evaluation, assessment and follow through, and take all medications as prescribed, gain full-time employment and perform a total of 50 community service hours. Court will consider expunction if he completes this sentence and remains crime-free for two years. Other charges were read in and dismissed.

Sentencing was held for Brett A. Harvey, 19, Oconto, on felony charges of possession of THC (second offense) Dec. 15 in Oconto. A sentence of 18 months incarceration and two years extended supervision was imposed and stayed. He was sentenced to two years probation, with conditions he must complete Compass, evaluation and assessments, and substance abuse and mental health evaluation and assessments, maintain absolute sobriety and obtain full-time employment or part-time employment if in school. A misdemeanor charge was dismissed.
Sentencing was held for Joseph F. Befay, 32, Gillett, on a felony charge of possession of THC (second-plus offense) Aug. 29 in the town of Gillett. A sentence of 18 months incarceration and two years extended supervision was imposed and stayed. He was sentenced to two years probation, with conditions of 90 days in jail with Huber privileges and good-time credit. He must participate in all assessments and follow up and maintain absolute sobriety. He is eligible for the Challenge incarceration and substance abuse programs.
