Christensen takes 14th in high jump
Suring High School sophomore John Christensen took 14th among 18 high jumpers at the WIAA Division 3 state track meet Friday and Saturday at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Christensen’s best jump at state was 5 feet, 10 inches. He was added as a extra qualifier following his sectional performance in Rosholt, where he cleared 6-0 to place fifth.
