A sentencing hearing was held for Cody J. Ford, 21, De Pere, on a misdemeanor charge and a felony charge of child abuse-recklessly cause harm on Sept. 4 and Nov. 1, 2014, in Chase. The felony charge was amended to a felony charge of physical abuse of a child. He was sentenced to one year, six months incarceration and two years extended supervision. He is to have no contact with the victim or anyone under the age of 18, successfully complete and follow treatment plans for alcohol and other drug abuse, Compass, cognitive intervention and sex offenders. He must register as a sex offender, be subject to random drug tests and maintain absolute sobriety. He may not use or possess any firearms or ammunition.
An adjourned initial appearance and motion hearing were held for Cody J. Meyer, 27, Lena, on felony charges of hit-and-run causing injury (repeater) and a meanderings charge that allegedly occurred July 15 in Oconto Falls. A $1,500 cash bond continues. A preliminary hearing is Aug. 20.
A status conference was held for Lisa J. Patten, 37, Dubuque, Iowa, on felony charges of burglary of a building or dwelling, party to a crime, taking and driving a vehicle without consent, party to a crime, and two misdemeanor charges, which allegedly occurred March 11 in Little Suamico. The court set a $100,000 cash bond. A status conference is Sept. 10.
Proceedings from Aug. 6
A sentencing hearing was held for Kyle L. Davis, 17, Mountain, on felony charges of burglary of a building or dwelling-party to a crime (five counts) and 10 misdemeanor charges, which occurred between Jan. 27 and Feb. 16 in Riverview. On one count of criminal damage to property, a sentence of three years, six months was imposed and stayed: one year, six months initial confinement and two years of extended supervision. He was placed on probation for three years. On two counts of criminal damage to property and two counts of theft of movable property, he was sentenced to 120 days jail for each count to run concurrent to the first sentence. He is to have no contact with others involved or victims, must successfully complete any and all programs required by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, including cognitive thinking programs. He is required to get his high school diploma and obtain and maintain full-time employment.
Proceedings from Aug. 5
A status conference was held for Daniel S. Stewart, 22, Suring. He pleaded no contest to a felony charge of possession of THC (second and subsequential offense) and a misdemeanor charge, which occurred March 24 in Suring. A court sentence was withheld one year. He must complete one year of probation with alcohol and other drug abuse assessments and follow through, and obtain and maintain full-time employment. He must also complete whatever assessments the Wisconsin Department of Corrections deems necessary. On the misdemeanor charge, an imposed and stayed sentence of six months jail and one year probation is to run concurrent to the count one sentence. All other charges were dismissed. An expungement may be granted if he stays crime free for one year.

A motion was held for JJ. D. Liegeois, 36, Little Suamico, on a felony charge of substantial battery-intending bodily harm, second degree reckless injury and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred June 8, 2014, in Oconto. A $10,000 cash bond continues. A final pretrial is Aug. 25.
A final pretrial was held for Justin M. Alsteen, 33, Little Suamico. He pleaded no contest to a felony charge of possession of THC (second offense) and two misdemeanor charges from Jan. 25 in Little Suamico. A $2,000 cash bond continues. Sentencing is Sept. 16.
A final pretrial/plea hearing was held for Russell P. Radaj, 45, Oconto Falls. He pleaded no contest to felony charges of OWI (fourth within five years) and two misdemeanor charges from March 11 in the town of Lena. A $15,000 cash bond continues. Sentencing is Sept. 29.
A sentencing hearing was held for Darrell J. Skenandore, 49, Oconto, on felony charges of possession of THC (second-plus offense), party to a crime, and a misdemeanor charge, which occurred Feb. 28 in Oconto. A determinate sentence of three years and six months was imposed and stayed, and he was sentenced to 18 months incarceration and two years extended supervision. He must successfully complete all alcohol and other drug abuse treatments and Compass assessments and follow-up, must seek and obtain employment, and maintain absolute sobriety.

A sentencing hearing was held for Vicki L. Steinhaus, 52, Oconto, on felony charges of manufacturing and delivering non-narcotics and two counts of manufacturing and delivering schedule IV drugs, which occurred Sept. 2 and 12 in Oconto. On charges of manufacturing and delivering non-narcotics, a sentence was withheld, and she was sentenced to two years probation. She must maintain absolute sobriety. All other charges were dismissed.
A preliminary hearing was held for Christopher W. Matuszak, 37, Green Bay, on 10 counts of failure to support a child (120-plus days), which allegedly occurred from March 2011 to July 2014. The court set a $10,000 signature bond. A status conference/arraignment is scheduled Sept. 10.

Knight, 33, Oconto Falls, on felony charges of child abuse-intentionally causing harm (repeater) and two misdemeanor charges, which allegedly occurred July 26 in Oconto Falls. The court set a $5,000 cash bond. An adjourned initial appearance is Aug. 13.
