Oconto Falls Police Department

A woman, 21, and man, 22, at a Jackson Street residence were taken into custody Aug. 7 on outstanding warrants from outside the county. An employee of Missoula Children’s Theater reported the theft of a duffel bag from the back of a truck. The bag contained “Wiz of the West” T-shirts valued at $400. The theft was reported Aug. 8 and had occurred some time during the previous week. An Oconto Falls man, 62, on Aug. 9 reported three juveniles tipped over a grill in his yard on Elm Avenue at 1:30 a.m. The grill was not damaged. The juveniles were not located. A brother, 15, and sister, 22, caused a disturbance on Aug. 9 on South Chestnut Avenue when they were overheard arguing. An Oconto Falls man, 49, was arrested for lewd and lascivious behavior Aug. 9 after a neighbor reported seeing the man naked on the man’s porch on South Main Street. An Oconto Falls woman, 25, was cited for possession of marijuana at an apartment building on South Main Street. An Oconto Falls man, 35, reported being harassed by an ex-girlfriend, who visited his North Main Street residence. Mercier’s Fast Stop reported a boy, 9, attempted to shoplift $1.78 worth of merchandise on Aug. 10. A boy, 16, on house arrest, was taken to juvenile detention Aug. 10 after he was reported going door to door on Eagle Drive looking for a ride. A child abuse report was under investigation Aug. 11 on North Main Street. An Oconto Falls man, 53, on Aug. 13 reported someone had created a Comcast account in his name in Illinois, and a collection agency was contacting him for nonpayment. It was the 13th incident of this type of fraud he reported. Two boys, ages 7 and 11, and a girl, 7, on Aug. 19 were warned to stop harassing and bullying an Oconto Falls girl, 10, at the East Side Beach.
