Proceedings from Oct. 29 A plea hearing was held for Janae Tress Kellogg, 17, Gillett, on felony charges of injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle, injury by use of a vehicle, party to a crime, reckless driving causing great bodily harm, which allegedly occurred Jan. 11 in Lena. The court amended charges to a felony charge of reckless driving causing great bodily harm, with a misdemeanor charge, and she pleaded no contest. The $2,500 cash bond and all citations were revoked by the court. Sentencing is Dec. 15. Proceedings from Oct. 28 A waiver preliminary hearing was held for Nancy L. Huycke-Lewis, 55, Oconto, on two felony charges: issue/ineligible person food stamps ($100-$5,000) and illegal transfer of food stamps ($100-$5,000), which allegedly occurred Nov. 1, 2014, to Dec. 15, 2014, in Oconto. A $2,500 signature bond continues. An arraignment and a possible plea and sentencing hearing are Nov. 30. A waiver preliminary hearing was held for Virginia M. Huycke, 30, Oconto, on three felony charges: issue/ineligible person food stamps ($100-$5,000), illegal transfer of food stamps ($100-$5,000) and misstate facts in food stamps application ($100-$ 5,000), which allegedly occurred Nov. 1, 2014, to Dec. 15, 2014, in Oconto. A $2,500 signature bond continues. An arraignment is Nov. 17. A sentencing hearing was held for Chris A. Hoffman, 49, Gillett, on three felony charges of operating while intoxicated (fifth or sixth offense), bail jumping and operating with prohibited alcohol concentration (fifth or sixth offense) which occurred March 7 in Gillett. The charges of operating while intoxication and bail jumping were dismissed by the court. A determent sentence of five years, six months was given on charges of operating with prohibited alcohol concentration (fifth or sixth offense), including incarceration of two years, six months and extended supervision of three years with conditions of six demerit points, 36 months driver’s license revocation, then an additional 36 months of ignition interlock system on vehicles. He must also enter alcohol and any other assessments and treatments deemed appropriate and maintain absolute sobriety. Proceedings from Oct. 27 An arraignment was held for Christopher A. Nelson, 34, Oconto Falls. He pleaded not guilty to a felony charge of injury by neglect use of a weapon/explosive (party to a crime) and a misdemeanor, which allegedly occurred July 4 in Oconto Falls. A $5,000 signature bond continues. A plea and sentencing hearing is Nov. 30. A waiver preliminary hearing/bond hearing was held for Cory M. Branch, 27, Townsend, on felony charges of possession of a firearm by a felon, repeater, second-degree recklessly endangering safety, repeater, and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred Sept. 22 in Townsend. A $50,000 cash bond continues. An arraignment is Dec. 4. Proceedings from Oct. 26 A waiver preliminary hearing was held for James R. Plemel, 52, Sobieski, on a felony charge of aggravated battery-elderly and two misdemeanor charges, which allegedly occurred Aug. 11 in Sobieski. A $350 cash bond continues. An arraignment is Nov. 17. A plea hearing was held for Brian M. Madson, 30, Oconto. He pleaded no contest to felony charges of theft movable property, party to a crime, which allegedly occurred Jan. 1 and March 31 in Oconto. A $2,500 cash bond was revoked by the court. He also has a pending case in Racine County. A sentencing hearing is Jan. 12.
