Harland J. Foral

Harland Joseph Foral, 83, of Townsend, passed away unexpectedly in his home Wednesday, June 11, 2025. Harland was born April 16, 1942, to Edmund and Viola (Monfort) Foral. He worked for Soo Line Railroad for 30 years. On Nov. 29, 1976, Harland married Linda Howenstine. Harland was a fisherman and loved the outdoors where he enjoyed spending time with his 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He enjoyed gardening with the love of his life. Harland is survived by his wife, Linda; an estranged son, Jeff Foral of Wyoming; son, Tony Prue of Wittenberg; three daughters, Toni (Wade Hienke) Kohls of Kiel, Jackie (Butch) Bodart of Seymour, Cheyenne (Brian Nowinski) Gretzon of Peshtigo; brother, Edmund Foral Jr. of Oconto Falls He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmund and Viola Foral; infant daughter, Katherine; siblings, Verland Foral, Lavone (Elzer) Pecor and Geraldine (Mike) Finger; grandson, Troy Bodart. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring from 4-7 p.m. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
