The gates burst open for Wittenberg-Birnamwood as the Chargers shut out their hosts, Weyauwega-Fremont, 20-0.

Gillett/Suring’s softball team collected a 5-2 win over Niagara at Gillett.
Almond-Bancroft 12, Bonduel 1
Almond-Bancroft used a five-run third inning and a six-run fifth inning to to defeat Bonduel 12-1. The winners also sandwiched a one-run fourth inning in between the two big scoring innings.
Jayla Reinke had the Bears only RBI, knocking in Taylor Rank.
Kallie Wilcox was the losing pitcher.
Laona/Wabeno 12, Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas Academy 2
Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas scored the first and last runs of the game, but Laona/Wabeno scored 12 in between to pick up the win.
Lauren Paidl and Peyton Dorow each had an RBI for Lena/STAA.

Bonduel fourth back from a pair of three-run deficits to defeat Wittenberg Birnamwood 8-7.
Bonduel trailed 4-1 after the first inning but scored three in the third to tie the game.
After surrendering three unearned runs in the fourth, the Bears tallied two in the sixth on a two-out single by Taylor Rank, and two more in the seventh on back-to-back two-out singles by Haley Conradt and Maddy Sokolski.
The Chargers loaded the bases in the seventh inning, but Kallie Wilcox worked out of the jam to secure the win.
Tatum Sporisky was 3-for-3 and made several spectacular catches in centerfield.
Taylor Rank had a pair of hits and three RBIs, and Juliana Jacobs had two hits including a leadoff single to set the table in the seventh.
Emery Thompson worked the first four innings for the Bears, and Wilcox picked up the win with three innings of scoreless relief.
Lena/STAA 11, Goodman/Pembine 1
Hannah Thomson collected four RBIs and a double as Lena/STAA beat Goodman/Pembine 11-1.
Hanna Parrett also had a double and two RBIs, with Kali Fischer also getting an RBI.
Adrena Rabas had there stolen bases, and Peyton Dorow hit 2-for-3.
