W-Whitewater More than 800 students graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at winter commencement, held Dec. 14, 2024, at Kachel Fieldhouse in the Williams Center. The following local students earned degrees from the UW-Whitewater at winter commencement: Pulaski: Brock Egnarski, bachelor of science in education, physical education; Jarron McKeefry, bachelor of business administration, finance; Jarret Olson, cum laude honors, bachelor of business administration, general business; Rachel Wasielewski, cum laude honors, bachelor of business administration, accounting. Birnamwood: Andy Hegewald, master of science, data analytics. Oconto: Lauren Hope Bruemmer, bachelor of business administration, management. Suring: Brooke Jansen, master of science, finance. Northern Michigan University Graduating from Northern Michigan University with a GPA of 3.5-3.99 were Abi Fraaza, of Birnamwood, and Wyatt Dickman, of Eland. Ripon College The following local students were named to the Ripon College dean’s list for the fall 2024 semester. To qualify, students must achieve a 3.40 GPA or better and complete at least 12 credits of regular letter-graded work. Qualification for the dean’s list is limited to students who have attained outstanding academic achievement. To be eligible, students must have earned at least a 3.5 semester GPA and carried a minimum of 12 credits. College of Charleston Olivia DeKeyser, of Pulaski, was named to the College of Charleston (Charleston, South Carolina) fall 2024 president’s list. DeKeyser is majoring in marine biology. To qualify for the president’s list (highly distinguished), students must earn a GPA of 3.8 or better and complete a minimum of 12 semester hours.
