An Oconto woman died Feb. 2 when she lost control of her car and rear-ended a snowplow on U.S. Highway 41 south of Oconto.
The Wisconsin State Patrol said Sarah M. Yedynak, 26, was killed in the crash, which occurred at about 8 a.m. in the southbound lane of Highway 41 near Frog Pond Road.
Yedynak was driving a 2012 Cadillac CTS when she apparently lost control of the vehicle on the slippery road. The snowplow, driven by a 50-year-old man, had stopped in the left-turn lane when it was struck.
The snowplow driver was not injured, according to the State Patrol news release.
