AbbyBank announces the addition of James “Jim” Meyer as a commercial lender.
Meyer has nearly 40 years of experience in the banking industry, including almost three decades dedicated to business banking. His educational background includes a bachelor of science in finance from University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a minor in economics, as well as a Graduate School of Banking degree from UW-Madison.
Meyer specializes in commercial loans, small business administration financing, cash flow management and strategic financial planning. Known for his honest and straightforward advice as a trusted adviser, Meyer is committed to working collaboratively with clients to provide personalized solutions that help their businesses thrive.

In addition to his professional achievements, Meyer is involved in the Shawano community, where he was born and raised. He serves as vice chairman of the Shawano Industrial and Economic Development Committee, is a board member for the Shawano Area Community Foundation and is an active member of the Rotary Club. He also dedicates time to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel, where he serves as evangelism board member and director of church ministries.
Outside the office, Meyer enjoys spending time with his wife, writing and volunteering for various charitable causes.
