The Wittenberg Chamber of Commerce and the Walls of Wittenberg will host the first-ever Festival of Trees event in the village.
Organizers are seeking businesses, organizations and individuals to decorate a holiday tree or wreath to be displayed in the WOWSPACE, 114 Vinal St., during the holiday season. The goal is to spread cheer and enjoyment to the greater community.
Proceeds from the event will support the Wittenberg chamber and WOWSPACE events.
A ticketed grand opening for those 21 and older will be held from 6-9 p.m. Dec. 11.
Tickets are $20 each and include two cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Enjoy holiday music and raffle items. Wreaths will be available for purchase.
A limited number of tickets are available at Tavern Front Wittenberg, Refuel Nutrition and Ticketbud.com.
Free viewings will run Thursdays and Fridays from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday and Sundays from 2-6 p.m. from Dec. 12-22.
Also, on Dec. 14, the WOWSPACE will be open from 3-8 p.m during the Wittenberg Holiday Parade.
