Shawano put together a brilliant performance in defeating Menasha in another conference matchup. This win propels Shawano into the top four with a birth into the conference tournament. Goals were aplenty for the Hawks. Ruben De Gaspari put in five goals in the first half. Anderson Schmidt also put in one goal in the first half and then paired it with a second after halftime.
Grayson Swedberg wrapped the night up six minutes into the second half to bring Shawano to eight goals. Assists on the night were from Dylan Gartner, Juaquin Boldig, De Gaspari and Schmidt.
The team is now 10-3-2.
Notre Dame 2, Pulaski 1
The Red Raiders fell to the Tritons 2-1 in a Fox River Classic Conference match.
Notre Dame tallied two first-half goals, courtesy of Liam West in the 19th minute and Keegan Maxfield in the 37th minute.
Pulaski (9-3-2, 1-3) got a goal back in the 67th minute as Josh Aranda assisted Maddox McKeefry.
Edwin Cisneros made five saves in goal for Notre Dame (5-8-1, 2-2). Josh Roth made five saves in goal for the Red Raiders.
