Weideman scores 3 TDs in Pulaski’s 35-14 win

Sept. 12 Pulaski 35, Green Bay Southwest 14 A pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns sealed the 35-14 win for Pulaski in Fox River Classic Conference-North action. Pulaski improved to 1-1 in league play and 2-2 overall; Green Bay Southwest remains winless on the season. Neither team scored in the first quarter, and the first half ended in a 7-7 tie. The Red Raiders scored on a Brock Weideman 14-yard run. Pulaski scored twice in the third quarter to lead 20-7 before Green Bay Southwest scored to make it a 20-14 game going into the final quarter. Weideman scored his second rushing TD from the 3-yard line, and Anthony Ficarri ran it in from 6 yards out for the next score. In the fourth quarter, Weideman scored his third touchdown on the night, this time from the 2-yard line. Spencer Hakes also scored from the 1-yard line. Weideman carried the ball 17 times for 106 yards, while Hakes had 11 carries for 55 yards. Ethan Schmidt connected on 11-of-14 passes for 102 yards. Bohdan Schmidt caught seven balls for 74 yards. Pulaski is set to host West De Pere at 7 p.m. Sept. 20.
