The Hawks battled hard in a non-conference game against the Waupaca Comets but came up short, 2-1.
At halftime, the Hawks trailed 1-0. Trinity Popelka scored the Hawks’ only goal in the 51st minute, tying the game 1-1. The Comets put in their second goal late in the game, ending the sore 2-1.
