Shawano Woman’s Club fashion show coming in May

The 18th annual Shawano Woman’s Club Fashion Show and Spring Fling will take place May 9 at The Gathering, 2600 E. Richmond St., Shawano. The event starts at 10:30 a.m. with a cash bar, followed by a luncheon at noon. The theme this year is “Barbie Doll Pink.” Spring and summer fashions will be modeled during the event, with fashions provided by Dreier’s Boutique, Ultimate Closet, B&H Fashionwear and Thornberry Cottage. There will be raffle baskets, a silent auction, a wine pull and swag bags featuring donations from dozens of local vendors. Tickets are $35 and must be purchased in advance, by calling 715-570-0531 before April 30. Proceeds from the event benefit scholarships for local students, the Shawano County Historical Society, Shawano County Library, Shawano County veterans and the many other community organizations supported by the Shawano Woman’s Club.
