Shawano tennis team tops Pulaski

April 16 Pulaski 5, Manitowoc Lincoln 2 Manitowoc Lincoln won at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles, but Pulaski won all of the other matches to record a 5-2 win. Ryan Symons beat Matt Minehan 6-1, 6-2, at No. 2 singles. At No. 3, Aran Capella beat Cole Palmer 2-0, 2-0. At No. 4, it was Donovan Holderness over Isiah Moua 6-0, 6-0. Nathan Maroszek and Oscar Delmarcelle won 6-0, 6-3, at No. 2 doubles, and Jonah Drevs and William Gosse won 6-2, 6-2, at No. 3. For Manitowoc, Ray Peroutka beat Justin Freadrich 6-3, 7-5, in singles play. In doubles, it was Ayden Knuth and Cohen Newberg, beating Jeffrey Sanders and Henry Piczkowski 6-0, 6-0, in doubles action. April 15 Shawano 5, Pulaski 2 Shawano won all three doubles matches and a pair of singles matches en route to a 5-2 win over Pulaski. At No. 1 doubles, George Buerman and Tristan Sheldon defeated Aran Capella and Henry Piczkowski 6-3, 6-1. At No. 2, it was Tristan Tetting and Isaac Welander beating Nathan Maroszek and Oscar Delmarcelle 6-2, 6-1. And at No. 3 doubles, it was Mason Sparks and Domenic Badalamenti defeating Jonah Drevs and William Gosse 6-4, 3-6, 17-15. Shawano’s Andrew Vandenheuvel won at No. 1 singles, defeating Pulaski’s Justin Freadrich 6-3, 1-6, 12-10. Cristian Hernandez, Shawano, beat Jeffrey Sanders, Pulaski, 6-0, 6-3, at No. 3. Pulaski won at No. 2 and No. 4 singles. First, Ryan Symons beat Ryan Buerman 6-1, 6-2. Then, Donovan Holderness defeated Elias Popp 6-1, 6-1.
