Martin P. Malone, 72, of Bowler, passed away peacefully on Monday, Feb. 16, 2015, in Shawano.
Martin was born on Sept. 21, 1942, in the town of Red Springs, the son of the late Arthur and Cleo (Welch) Malone.
Martin lived in Milwaukee for several years before returning to the area in 1993. He enjoyed working on cars, drawing and was a United States Army veteran.
Martin is survived by his children, Michelle Malone and Jennifer (Chris) Provo; his grandchildren, Adrian, Brooklyn, Chanelle, Martin, Jasmine and Jenaya. He is further survived by his brothers and sisters, Vincent, Sheldon (Joanne), Loretta Pecore, Roger (Anne), Randy (Kristy), Alvinus (James) Taylor, Tim (Verna) and Arthur (Sarita).
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Violet and Evon.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Gresham with the Rev. Melinda Shriner officiating with lunch following the service. Military rites well be conducted by the Gresham American Legion Post 390 and the Mohican Veterans. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
