Martha Buce, 71, of Burkburnett, Texas, received her angel wings on Tuesday, March 31, 2015.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015, in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Scott, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett.
Martha was born on Feb. 14, 1944, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was a graduate of Gresham High School in 1962. She lived many years married to a cowboy while raising their children. She later was united in marriage on Sept. 16, 1983, to Larry Buce. They enjoyed traveling and making magnetic jewelry.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Kurszewski and Kitty Horseley; her sisters, Linda Kurszewski and Nancy Brittain; her son, Casey Tedford; and her great-granddaughter, Harper Marie Nettles.
She is survived by her children, Lisa Nettles, of Wisconsin, Joe Tedford, of Snyder, Texas, Julie Tedford of Odessa, Texas, and Mark Tedford (Hope Lemieux), of Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Chrystal (James) Cowden, Ricky Nettles Jr. (Staci Reinert), Charla Stish (Dustin), Casey Nettles, Larry Moede Jr. and Gage Moede, all of Wisconsin, and Cole Tedford, of Odessa; and her great-grandchildren, Jacey and Cooper Cowden, and was excitedly awaiting the arrival of the Stish twins this summer.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2015, at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett.
