The Shawano Police Department is investigating the death of a person discovered on the Mountain-Bay State Trail.
Police responded to a call of an unresponsive male located near the trail on the city’s east side at about 6:54 a.m. Aug. 13.
The man was later identified as Timothy Pehlke.
The death is under investigation as suspicious, police said in a new release. However, they also said there is no known threat to the public at this time.
No other information was released.
