Letter: Keep kids out of campaign ads

To the editor: I know the governor’s race is a serious matter, but lately I’ve been bothered by the fact that political action groups are using children to try to get the upper hand. The Republicans started it, and now the Democrats have run two in a row, using children. Come on, have you no respect for the young people of our state? Children don’t vote. By the time some of these kids are old enough to vote, Scott Walker might not have any hair left. The latest ad shows a child passing a hat around collecting money to degrade the Republican Party. Have political activists no dignity? You’re exploiting children for political gain! Say what you want about me or any other adult out there, but keep the kids out of this! John J. Mutter Jr., Shawano
