Lena wins Bonduel golf invite

April 10 Bonduel Invite Lena golfers earned the top score at the Bonduel Invite, carding a 327 to top the home team’s 348. Lena’s Braden McVane was the medalist with a 78. Other teams and their scores were Wittenberg-Birnamwood 380, Amherst 384, Iola-Scandinavia 415, Oconto 416, Marion 423, Weyauwega-Fremont 434, Pacelli 454, Manawa 464, Shiocton 487 and Menominee Indian/Gresham 615. Joining McVane on Lena’s winning team were Mason Belongia with an 80 (second best on the day), Mason Spice with an 84 and Drake Dionne with an 85. Evan Vanderzanden carded a 99. Bonduel’s scorers were Colin Fischer with an 81, Jake Dreyer and Jaxon Bogacz each with an 87, and Charlie Tauchen with a 93. Colin Margelofsky hit a 129. Scoring for Wittenberg-Birnamwood were Joe Seegmiller at 83, August Barke at 97, Owen Schultz at 99 and George Seegmiller at 101. A 106 was recorded by Logan Hanson. Marion was led by Sam Gueths with a 99. He was joined by Jack Schoen with a 106, Gracie Grogan with a 108 and Edward Schoen with a 110. A 112 was recorded by Elijah Schema. Menominee Indian/Gresham scores were 139, 151, 152 and 173, with a fifth score of 180.
