Clintonville 1, Bonduel 0 The Bonduel American Legion baseball team lost to Clintonville 1-0 Friday in the Class A Region 3 tournament in Marion. Clintonville pitcher Turner Doornink threw a no-hitter to give Bonduel its first loss of the double-elimination tourney. Bonduel pitcher Jake Luepke gave up two hits to Clintonville. Jake VanAllen got the game-winning RBI on a single in the third inning to bring home Aaron Morse, who reached on a Bonduel error. Bonduel will play at 3 p.m. Saturday against the winner of the 1 p.m. game between Marion/Tigerton and Weyauwega-Fremont. If Bonduel wins, the championship game against Clintonville will be played at 5 p.m. If Marion/Tigerton or Weyauwega-Fremont advance, the game with Clintonville will be played on Sunday. Marion/Tigerton 5, Menominee 1 The Menominee American Legion baseball team was eliminated from the Class A Region 3 tournament Friday with a 5-1 loss to Marion/Tigerton in Marion. Hayden Harris picked up the win. Tom Williams took the loss. Woodrow Nelson led Marion/Tigerton, going 2 for 3 with four RBIs. Justin Miller was 2 for 4 with an RBI. Walker Miller led Menominee with a pair of singles. Marion/Tigerton will play at 1 p.m. Saturday against Weyauwega-Fremont, which beat Manawa 8-3 Friday.
