Justin A. Dequaine

Justin A. Dequaine, 18, Abrams, died Thursday afternoon, May 21, 2015. He was born July 28, 1996, in Shawano to Andy and Stacy (Johnson) Dequaine. Justin lived with his family in Oconto Falls before moving with them to Abrams at the age of 3 years old. He later attended Abrams Elementary School and participated in Abrams Youth Baseball. Justin was currently a member of the senior class at Oconto Falls High School and worked summers with his father at Macco’s in Green Bay and helped at Whispering Pines during Christmas season. Justin will be remembered as a loving, sweet and tender-hearted person who displayed artistic talent. He enjoyed being around children and always made time for them. Survivors are his parents, Andy and Stacy Dequaine, Abrams; three brothers, Brett Dequaine, Stiles, Travis and Blake Dequaine; his dog, Miller, all at home; his paternal grandparents, Ken and Barb Dequaine, Abrams; maternal grandparents, Sharon (Donald) Mills, Mississippi; paternal great-grandmother, Florence Dequaine, Green Bay; maternal great-grandfather, Ernest Gordon, Mississippi; a very special aunt, Shanna Johnson, Green Bay; many other aunts, uncles, cousins and many great friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bruce Johnson; paternal great-grandparents, Ray Dequaine, George and Agnes VanBeynen; and his maternal great-grandparents, Laverne Gordon and Darrell and Rebecca Johnson. Visitation was held from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls. Visitation will continue after 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, at the funeral home until the time of service. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Andrew DeGier officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, town of Pensaukee.
