The annual Shawano County Fair kicks off Sept. 2 and runs daily through Labor Day, Sept. 7.
Gates open at 5 p.m. Sept. 2. Admission is $3 for those 12 and older, and free for anyone 11 and younger. Parking is free on opening night.
From Sept. 3-7, the gates open at 9 a.m. Adults and children 12 and older get in for $7, and again anyone 11 and younger gets in for free.
The daily parking fee is $5.
The main entrance at the fairgrounds is on Fairview Street Gate 1.
There will be free shuttle ride from the east parking area.
Senior Citizen Day is Sept. 6. Anyone 62 and older gets in for $2. Parking is still $5.
A season ticket is $30 and includes daily gate admission and parking during the duration of the fair. It does not include grandstand admission or rides.
A lifetime membership is $500. This entitles the holder, spouse and children up to 16 years of age free admission to the Shawano County Fair. Applications are available at the fair office.
Most grandstand events will have additional entrance fees.
The county farm tractor pull will begin at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 2. Admission is $5.
The fireworks display at dusk Sept. 3 is free for all.
The championship stock car races will begin at 6 p.m. Sept. 5. Admission is $12 for seniors, $15 for ages 17 and older, $6 for ages 11-16 and free for ages 10 and younger with a paid adult.
Staring at noon Sept. 6 is the demolition derby. Admission is $12 for 17 and older, $6 for ages 12-16 and free for ages 10 and younger with a paid adult. The monster trucks event starts at 1 p.m. Sept. 7. Get through the gates for $20 for adults, $10 for children 3-17 and free for those 2 and younger with a paid adult.
Dogs and glass bottles are not allowed on the fairgrounds or the grandstands.
