BOYS BASKETBALL Bonduel 55 Weyauwega-Fremont 51 Bonduel remained perfect in Central Wisconsin Conference-8 play with a win Friday over visiting Weyauwega-Fremont. After taking a 38-25 lead at halftime, Bonduel was outscored 14-5 in the third quarter, but held on to get the win. Connor Rosin led all scorers with 20 points. Peyton Czarapata added 11 for Bonduel (8-1, 4-0 CWC-8). Trevor Pedersen scored 10. Logan Bosquez and Dylan Pankow led Weyauwega-Fremont (3-4, 2-2) with 13 points each. Bryce Ackey added 12. Menominee Indian 48 Tri-County 42 Menominee Indian beat visiting Tri-County in a Central Wisconsin Conference-10 game Friday in Keshena. Ron Frechette scored 17 points to lead the Menominee Indian (5-2, 4-2 CWC-10). Michael Pecore added 14. In junior varsity action, Menominee Indian beat Tri-County, 37-14. GIRLS BASKETBALL Menasha 45 Shawano 38 The Hawks hung with Menasha through three quarters but were outscored 20-14 in the fourth to lose Friday’s Bay Conference game in Menasha. Briana Boda led Shawano (3-7, 2-5 Bay) with 15 points and nine rebounds. Sara Hokenstad had eight points and nine rebounds. Ashley Siegel scored 14 points to lead Menasha (1-9, 1-5) to its first victory of the season. Menominee Indian 50 Tri-County 47 Menominee Indian stayed undefeated with a road win Friday over Central Wisconsin Conference-10 foe Tri-County. Ania Smith scored 20 points to lead Menominee Indian (10-0, 8-0 CWC-10). Erin Wynos added 14, and Sasha Peters scored eight. Amber Baehman scored 11 to lead Tri-County (6-2, 5-2). Bowler 34 Gresham 18 Ashlynn Brisk scored 12 points and had six steals to lead Bowler to a Central Wisconsin Conference-10 win over visiting Gresham (2-8, 0-8 CWC-10) Friday night. Reanne Kietlinski added 11 points and eight steals for Bowler (8-1, 6-1).
