Bonduel swept a home doubleheader Monday against Amherst, scoring seven runs in the second inning to take control of the first game.
Connor Rosin pitched the win, going six innings and allowing only two hits while striking out six. Jordan Richter and Colton Dobratz had two RBIs each for the Bears. Travis Wollenberg and Austin Siolka had two hits each.

Bonduel took advantage of nine walks in the second game, winning in five innings. Colton Dobratz and Patrick Thiel had two RBIs each for the Bears. Connor Rosin added two hits.
Austin Siolka pitched four innings for the win, allowing only one hit. Bonduel improved to 11-0 overall and 7-0 in the Central Wisconsin Conference-8.
Gresham 6
Menominee Indian 1
Christian Haffner pitched the 6-1 home win Monday against Menominee Indian.
The Eagles took the lead with a run in the top of the first, but Gresham responded with a run in the bottom of the inning and the 1-1 tie remained until the fourth.
The Wildcats posted runs in each of their final three at-bats, scoring two runs in both the fourth and sixth innings. Derrick Bowman had two RBIs and Kalen Fisher had two hits for Gresham.
Adam Isham had a hit and an RBI for Menominee Indian. Forrest Webster took the loss.
West De Pere 5
Shawano 0
West De Pere allowed only six Shawano hits in a doubleheader sweep at home Saturday, including a 5-0 shutout int he opening game.
The Hawks had three hits against Jacob Buboltz. Mason Boogren took the loss for Shawano. Boogren pitched five innings, allowing seven hits and three earned runs.

Shawano got on the board in the second game, but still lost, dropping to 5-6 on the season.
Grant Wainio allowed seven earned runs in just over four innings, with five strikeouts.

Zach Sousek had three hits and Grant Wainio added two RBIs in Shawano’s win Tuesday.
Chase Henning and Tommy Stueck had two hits each for the Hawks.
Nate Laude earned the win with six strikeouts. He allowed only three hits. Shawano improved to 6-6 with the win.
GOLF
Bears shoot season-best
Bonduel had its best nine-hole team score of the year, finishing with a 202 Monday at Eagle Creek Golf Course.
The Bears were still relegated to a third-place finish behind Manawa (194) and Amherst (198), while besting Shiocton (211).
“Our scores are continuing to slowly improve with each match … so that is encouraging for the kids,” coach Dave LaBerge said.
Zach Acker and Austin Acker each shot 47s for Bonduel. Matt LaBerge and David Parret had 54s, and Mitch LaBerge 56.
TENNIS

Green Bay West 2
The Shawano boys tennis team earned wins in all three doubles matches Monday.
Teddy Mickelson and Cole Reuter (6-1, 6-0) won at No. 1 doubles. Sajen Knueppel and Dalton Parson (6-1, 6-0) won at No. 2 doubles. Kyle Easter and Manuel Morel (7-1, 6-2) won at No. 3.
Rolando Colon (6-1, 6-2) and Jacob Schoenike (6-4, 7-6, 7-1) earned singles wins for the Hawks, who returned to the .500 mark on the season at 4-4.
SOFTBALL

Wisconsin Dells 4
Shawano split its games in the Poynette Jamboree last weekend, including a convincing win over the Dells.
Sarah Petry and Alli Raddant had two hits each for the Hawks.
Erin Cerveny pitched the win, going the distance and allowing six hits.
Whitnall 8
Shawano 2
The Hawks managed just five hits in the loss to Whitnall.
Courtney Ainsworth had two of the Shawano hits, including her first career home run.
Sydney Schreiber allowed 12 hits and struck out four in the loss, which dropped the Hawks to 8-6 overall.
Menominee Indian 13
Gresham 2
Kelsey Corn had five RBIs in the Eagles’ win Monday at Gresham.
The Eagles took the lead in their first at-bat, which included a two-run double by Corn. Gresham tied in the bottom of the first with a two-run triple from Hailey Hoffman.
Corn had another RBI-double in the third inning and Raeshene Pocan added an RBI-single, returning the lead to the Eagles, 4-2.
Taylor Mahkimetas pitched four innings, three of them scoreless, for Menominee. She had seven strikeouts and allowed just two hits in the win.
Taylor Hoffman took the loss for Gresham, striking out two and walking four.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood’s Jessica Anderson pitched a shutout Tuesday against Menominee Indian.
Anderson pitched all seven innings, allowing six hits and three walks with three strikeouts.
Kelsey Corn took the loss, allowing the four runs and striking out three.
Wittenberg-Birnamwood got three of its four runs on an RBI-double by Anderson.

Megan Klitzke scored two goals and added an assist for Shawano on Tuesday.
Teagan Monfils and Sydney Steinbach added one goal each for Shawano. Sarah Dickmann and Morgan Klitzke had assists.
Carlie Hinnefeld made eight saves in-goal for the Hawks (3-4-2, 1-1-2 Bay Conference).
