Panthers open season with win at River Island
Oconto Falls won a season-opening scramble Friday at River Island Golf Course in Oconto Falls.
The Panthers finished with a score of 90, one stroke better than Oconto and three up on Bonduel.
Green Bay East also took part in the scramble, but only had two golfers. Their scores did not count for the team totals.
Panthers place third at divisional meet
Oconto Falls shot a 212, 34 shots behind the victor, Marinette, during Monday’s Bay/NEC North Divisional Match.
Brittany Russell scored a 48 while Bridget Gorman shot a 50 to lead the Panthers. Brianna LeGebre added a 51, and Rebecca Berkovitz shot a 63.
Kayla Thielen, of Marinette, was the medalist, shooting a par-36.
