River Cities Habitat for Humanity ReStore seeks volunteers willing to help deconstruct and remove items from 14 properties north of the Oconto County Courthouse in Oconto.
The county has acquired these properties, which will be moved or demolished in advance of the construction of a new law enforcement center at the site.
The county has given ReStore the authority to go through the properties and collect usable donations.
According to a news release, River Cities Habitat for Humanity ReStore appreciates the opportunity to work with Oconto County on the project and will strive to get the most from the properties to recycle and resell at the store.
River Cities will work at the site from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2. Continued work will occur on the following Monday, and possibly on a Wednesday or Saturday, depending on the number of volunteers and materials at the properties.
Volunteers might have a chance to purchase items at a discount.

River Cities Habitat for Humanity ReStore, 2990 Cleveland Ave., Marinette, accepts donations of building materials such as appliances, cabinets, windows, doors, electrical fixtures and hardware and sells them to the public. Proceeds go to the River Cities Habitat for Humanity to serve its mission of trying to eliminate poverty housing.
ReStore is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
