Geraldine L. Lambrecht, 84, of Mountain, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014, at Woodland Village Nursing Home. She was born in Breed on Dec. 22, 1929, to the late Edward and Elsie (Hinkfus) Flynn.
Geraldine Flynn married Milon Lambrecht on Jan. 18, 1947, in Mountain. Gerri was a member of Tabor Lutheran Church in Mountain, where she was very involved in its Ladies Aid and was the church janitor for 20 years. She was very devoted to her church and enjoyed helping with all of the church activities and especially loved quilting with the Ladies Aid.
Gerri is survived by her husband, Milon; a son, Marty (Nancy) Lambrecht, of Little Chute; a daughter, Jean (Dennis) Gerndt, of Mountain; son-in-law, Brian Godin, of Mountain; daughter-in-law, Cathy Lambrecht, of Arizona; 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Catherine Godin; her son, Harlan; two brothers, Ted and Pat; three sisters, Nellie, Mary and Delores.
Visitation was held at Tabor Lutheran Church in Mountain on Tuesday, Oct. 28, from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Paul Scheunemann officiating. Gerri was interred in Mountain Cemetery.
