Eric D. Herrmann, 15, of Shawano, passed away on Oct. 22, 2014, in Shawano.
Eric was born in Shawano on April 1, 1999, to David and Kim (Maltbey) Herrmann. Eric was a sophomore at Shawano Community High School, where he played the trombone in the band and jazz band. He was a member of the St. James Lutheran Church and loved hunting, computers and other tech gadgets. He was a quick-witted, kind and compassionate person who will be missed by all who knew him.
Eric is survived by his parents, David and Kim, his brothers, Joshua and Andrew, and his grandmother, Macie Herrmann, all of Shawano. He is further survived by several aunts and uncles.
Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents, Doug and Jan Maltbey, Vernon Herrmann, and his aunt and uncle, Kelly and Steve Collins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, at the St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano with the Rev. Ted Andrada officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano. Visitation will be held at Swedberg Funeral Home on Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, from 4-7 p.m. and again at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
