Earl E. Wussow, 83, of Cecil, passed away at his home on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015.
Earl was born on March 5, 1931, in Rhinelander, the son of the late Edward and Lorraine (Kaste) Wussow. He enlisted in the military and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. On April 23, 1955, Earl was united in marriage to Rogene LeNoble in Clintonville. He has worked several places, including Pulaski shoe factory, construction, and owned and operated a dairy farm. He loved farming and enjoyed visits with his neighbors.
Earl is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rogene, and a sister, Ruth Duzik, of Michigan.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, at Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home with the Rev. David Barrett officiating. Military honors will be conducted at the funeral home. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services on Tuesday.
