The Menominee Tribal Historic Preservation Office will hold its annual lumberjack breakfast and Woodland Heritage Day on Oct. 3 at the Menominee Logging Museum.
Organizers are also seeking donations of promotional items, gift certificates or a donation for basket drawings to help support this community event.
All proceeds from the event directly benefit the Menominee Tribal Museum, ensuring the preservation of the Menominee Tribe’s unique logging history and cultural practices.
Serving for the lumberjack breakfast begins at 8 a.m. and continues until all food is sold out. Cultural workshops also begin at 8 a.m.
Community members can submit pies to compete for prizes in the pie contest and auction.
A 50/50 raffle and basket drawings will take place at noon.
This is a drug- and alcohol-free community event, and everyone is welcome to attend.
