Clintonville football players honored

Ross Westphal was named the Clintonville High School football team’s most valuable player, won the Golden Helmet Award and was named the Mike Mahnke Two-Way Player to lead the Truckers in awards for the 20d13 season. Charlie Poppe was named the team’s most dedicated player and won the Hustle Award. Skyler Lehman and Travis Whisman shared the Savage Award. Whisman also shared the Good, Better, Best (Double Lipper) Award with Coy Hansen. Jaden Doornink earned the Courage Award. Rookie of the year was Tyler Petermann. Practice player of the year was Trevor Kersten. Zach Engel and Darin Carrigg were named most improved. The Loyalty Award went to Nick Raasch. The MDP and MVP awards were voted on by the team as a whole, while the other awards were selected by the coaches.
