Proceedings from April 24 A status conference, continued initial appearance and waiver of a preliminary hearing were held for Devin B. Pearson, 19, of Green Bay, on charges of second degree sexual assault of a child, allegedly occurring Aug. 24 in Stiles and felony bail jumping. A $20,000 bond continues. A status conference/arraignment is May 5. Proceedings from April 23 A competency and arraignment hearing was held for Tim W. Lintner, 61, of Green Bay. He pleaded not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect on charges of burglary of a building or dwelling and aggravated battery of an elderly person, allegedly occurring Feb. 14 in the town of Gillett. The court found him competent to proceed, ordering the Wisconsin Forensic Unit to conduct an evaluation. A $20,000 cash bond continues. A status conference is July 1. Brandon J. Bero, 19, of Sheboygan, was sentenced to six days in jail on charges of physical abuse of a child occurring on July 21 in Oconto. He was ordered to pay fines and court costs of $345. An adjourned initial appearance was held for Sierra R. Blaschuk, 21, of Lena, on charges of identity theft-financial gain, allegedly occurring March 23 in Oconto. A $2,500 cash bond continues. A preliminary hearing and status conference are May 2. A preliminary hearing was held for Paul D. Dubois, 40, of Crivitz, on charges of substantial battery as a party to a crime, allegedly occurring Feb. 16 in Riverview. A $1,000 bond continues. An arraignment and status conference are June 5. Samantha L. Smith, 18, Oconto, made an initial appearance on 13 charges of possession with the intent to deliver drugs as a party to a crime, allegedly occurring May 30 in Oconto and three counts of felony bail jumping. A $10,000 cash bond was set. A status conference and an arraignment are May 8. A status conference was held for Richard K. Garrigan II, 21, of Oconto Falls, on charges of armed robbery, allegedly occurring June 21, 2011, manufacture/delivery of narcotics, repeater, occurring May 2, 2012, both in Oconto. A $10,000 bond continues. A final pretrial conference is Sept. 2. Proceedings from April 22 An initial appearance was held for Anthony J. Bozek , 37, Gillett, on charges of physical abuse of a child-intentionally cause bodily harm on April 21 in the town of Gillett. A signature bond was set for $5,000. A continued initial appearance is May 8. An initial appearance was held for Raul M. Saldana, 36, Texas, on charges of possession of THC (tetrahydrocannabinols) second and subsequent offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia to manufacture, compound, convert, produce or store methamphetamine on April 22 in Abrams. A $2,000 cash bond was set. A continued initial appearance is May 8. Proceedings from April 21 An initial appearance was held for Leslie R. Boyd, 51, Cecil, on a charge of violating a sex offender registry Dec. 13, 2012, in the town of Underhill. A $2,500 cash bond was set, with an order to comply with Wisconsin’s sex offender law. A continued initial appearance is May 8. Proceedings from April 14 Dennis P. Arendt, 19, Oconto, pleaded no contest and was found guilty of a charge of causing a child under 13 to view or listen to sexual activity, which occurred from Oct. 15 to Nov. 20 in Oconto. He was sentenced to two years of prison and two years of extended supervision. He is to have no contact with the victim or with any minors, not use computers or communication devices, maintain absolute sobriety and participate in sex offender assessments, evaluations, treatment and programs. During his period of supervision, he must obtain full-time employment or part-time employment if enrolled in school.
