To the editor:
My wife and I attended the Irish Tenor concert at the Performing Arts Center at Oconto Falls High School, and it certainly was outstanding, although sparsely attended.
Kudos to the board for its vision bringing a variety of acts to please a wide audience, which is worthy of a community much larger than Oconto Falls.
The Civic Symphony in Green Bay celebrated its 20th anniversary with a concert Oct. 4 including a world-class violinist who is a professor at Lawrence University. Let’s not forget the outstanding Oconto Falls choir (and music department) under the enthusiastic direction of Amy Thiel.
These are all worthy for us to carve out some time from our busy lives to support and enjoy these efforts in our community.
