The Abrams Day community celebration takes place Saturday, featuring a parade at noon, fireworks at dusk and entertainment until midnight. A new feature at this year’s event is the Oconto County Cruisers Car show, with registration at 9 a.m., show at 10 a.m. and prizes awarded at 3 p.m.
Abrams Day is held in the parking lot of Kip & Donna’s Flyway, 3080 County Road EE, Abrams. Admission is $3 for ages 16 and older. The gates will open at 10 a.m., and community organizations will sell food and beverages until 10 p.m.
A noon parade will begin at Abrams Elementary School and proceed down Main Street.
The afternoon’s entertainment includes kids games, pedal pulls and music by Tim Pszanka. The Friends of Abrams and Caris Innovation will hold a bike raffle at 4 p.m., followed by Abrams Idol at 5 p.m. and a kids dance from 6-10 p.m.
The Friends will also sponsor a bake sale. Donations of baked goods can be brought to Kip and Donna’s Friday night or Saturday.
Crossing Paths will perform from 8 p.m. until midnight.
