Colby/Abbotsford Invitational
Bonduel’s boys won the invite at Colby scoring 35 points, 19 better than second-place Columbus Catholic’s 54.
Five Bonduel runners captured spots seven through 11.
Race Anvelink led the Bears, placing seventh in 18:21.91. He was followed by: Oliver Chitwood, eighth, 18:37.54; Griffin Uelmen, ninth, 18:45.51; Gage Anderson, 10th, 18:48.28; and Joah Dworniczak, 11th, 19:06.46.
Garrett Anderson finished 27th in 20:47.20, and Ben Reisner was 37th in 21:38.48.
Mariah Wondra won the girls event, although the team placed second with 48 points. Medford won with 32.
Wondra finished the race in 19:39.33, nearly a full minute ahead of the next runner.
Also running for the Bears were: Teagan Engel, seventh, 21:47.74; Hailey Berg, 13th, 22:37.32; Kember Frome, 30th, 25:44.19; Seidy Blandon, 31st, 26:01.43; Taylor Rank, 34th, 26:12.65; and Madelyn Sokolski, 43rd, 28:42.68.
Roncalli Invitational
Emerson Fabry of Pulaski placed second in 19:35.5 to lead the Red Raiders in Manitowoc.
She was followed by Olivia Stedl in fifth place in 20:24.6 and Addie Bruckert in ninth in 21:09.6.
Ellie Murphy finished in 15th in 22:22.5, with Cameran Reiss placing 32nd in 24:08.2. Estella Vieaux was closed behind in 35th in 24:22.7.
Other Red Raiders on the course were Maggie Gumina, Maya Barker and Amelia Lytie.
The boys were paced by Grayen Gossen, who finished in third place in 17:19.8.
Daniel Augustine was not far behind, placing fifth in 17:35.8, while Parker Marshall was seventh in 18:00.7. Dayne Nowak finished in ninth place in 18:08.8.
Dayne Groth’s time of 18:24.8 was good enough for 14th place. Mitchell Pilon was 19th in 18:33.9.
Peyton Yaw placed 35th in 19:24.4, and Thomas Murphy was 41st in 19:50.4.
Also competing were Ben Augustine, Carter Ryskoski, Isaac Sonnenberg, Mason Groth, Lucas Ford, Nolan Greene and Liam Ford.
Shawano Invitational
Shawano’s boys placed 12th at their home invite, with Oconto Falls finishing in ninth and Menominee Nation in 13th.
Oconto Falls’ top runner was Ben Adams in 11th in 17:31.2, followed by Griffin Kopke, Isaiah Holtz, Brant Laluzerne and Evan Yma. Landon Timm and Sage Mendolla also ran.
The Hawks were led by Josiah Kuehl in 27th place in 18:13.1. He was joined by Trevor Schwartz, Teagan Harkey, James Lange and Quinten Harkey. Aiden Sischo also ran.
Menominee Nation was led by Ryan Corn in 51st place in 19:04.5 He was followed by Bryant Waupoose III, Jason Chapman, Barron Waupoose and Francis Delabrau. Also competing for the Eagles were Michael Peters and Quinn Olson.
Gillett’s Bradyn Wendorff finished in seventh place in 17:20.2. Nash Stage, Scott Herroux and Jeremiah Froelich also competed.
Suring’s Garrett School was 119th, while Blake Degrave and Skylar Bristol also ran.
Wolf River Lutheran’s Ryan Drengler placed 125th.
Marion’s Tristan Herro finished in 127th place.
Competing for Gresham/Bowler was Mason Martin, who placed 133rd.
Shawano’s girls placed eighth, with Oconto Falls in ninth and Suring in 15th.
The Hawks were led by Bailey Hendricks in 13th in 20:50.2. She was followed by Adalyn Barkley, Anabelle Schroeder, Maci Beyer and Mikelah Powers. Evelyn Kuehl and Zoe Sipple also rain.
Hailey Delzer led Oconto Falls, finishing 14th in 20:51.4. Emma Meissner, Ava Hodkiewicz, Josie Holt and Mackenzie Lotto followed.
Suring was led by Bunny Cramer, who placed 60th in 23:42.9. She was joined by Ginger Gerndt, Natalie Seibert, Allyson Seibert and Ada Jantz.
Gillett’s Hope Soper finished in 42nd. Lily Hansen was 90th.
Violet Buchholz of Wolf River Lutheran in Shawano placed 87th.
Ava Pettibone placed 98th to lead Menominee Nation. Urijah Reevis and Anisa Peters also ran.
Competing for Marion were Bella Conover in 115th and Bridget Much in 116th.
