Beverly Jane (Hewitt) Caulfield, 80, of Shawano, formerly of Chicago, passed away on April 11, 2015, in Shawano.
Beverly was the beloved wife of Roy Caulfield, C.F.D.; loving mother of Dave, C.P.D., (Sandy), Dan, C.F.D, (Monica), Paul (Jose), Julie (Mike, C.F.D) Nisivaco, Andy (Sally), Pat (Stephanie); proud grandmother of Robert, Steve, Pam, Kim, Matt, Jake, Jack, Laura, Colleen, Daniel, Ryan and Rachel; and great-grandmother of Abigail and Maeve. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Sister Alice Caulfield, BVM.
Beverly was a wonderful mom and caretaker extraordinaire. She was selfless in all she did. Dedicated to helping others, Beverly loved her work with the Lionesses as well as with hospice. She lived a full and wonderful life that included raising six children. She belonged to book club and loved her New York crossword puzzles. Beverly loved following the lives of her children and grandchildren and was the chief cook and bottle washer for many family weekends by the lake.
A funeral service for Beverly will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano with the Rev. David Barrett officiating. Visitation was held at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and again at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, Beverly’s family asks that memorials be directed to any hospice organization.
