Auxiliary meeting to include music, raffles

The Eick-Sankey American Legion Auxiliary will host an informational workshop from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at the Steel Moose Bar & Grill, 7083 State Highway 22, Oconto Falls. Teresa Isensee, department president, Joan Chwala, membership chairman, and others will hold a concert filled with music, singing and dancing. The group will raise voices in song for veterans, while sharing information about the American Legion Auxiliary. Raffles will take place, and individuals can bring a raffle prizes. Mini workshops will be held regarding leadership, membership, ALA programs and the culture of goodwill. Junior members, longtime members, new members and potential members are invited to participate. Registration is from 9-10 a.m. The fee of $12 per person includes a beverage and lunch. Optional materials can be purchased. A Plan of Action is $5 for a printed copy and $3 for a CD. Walk-ins and guests are welcome, but preregistrations is preferred by Jan. 1.
