When a local family moved into a home on Aug. 24, they found a dog the previous occupant had left behind. The family brought the dog, now named Bruce, to the Oconto Area Humane Society.
The dog was scared, and its fur was matted so badly, the dog found it difficult to move. He could not see out of one eye because of his unkempt fur. The shelter quickly transported Bruce to a local veterinarian where he was sedated in order to have his hair cut.
Now Bruce has a new look and is happily awaiting his forever home.
