Hilda N. Heimerman

Hilda N. Heimerman, 84, Mountain, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2013. Hilda was born Jan. 3, 1929, to the late Gerhard and Leola (Lyons) Stuewer. Hilda Stuewer married Dalton P. Heimerman on Sept. 24, 1949, at St. John Lutheran Church in Hayes. For the last 26 years the couple enjoyed their retirement in the Mountain area. Hilda enjoyed gardening, canning, puzzles, reading, fishing, snowmobiling and especially being outdoors. She was a member of the Tabor Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid. Hilda is survived by four daughters, Valarie Dillenbeck, of Zion, Ill., Marjorie Stroik, of Madison, Marla (Lenny) Heimerman, of New Holstein, Patricia (Jim) Wolf, of New Holstein; four sons, Dalton (Penny), of Suring, Leslie (Vicki), of Green Bay, Bruce (Debbie), of Manitowoc, John (Aoy), of Marinette; her brother, Bernhard (Hazel) Stuewer, of Suring, two sisters, Luretta Wilber, of Suring, Violet Hinkfus, of Gillett; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers-in law, Gene Wilber and Lavern Hinkfus; son-in-law, Gary Dillenbeck; five brothers, and one sister, who died at birth. Visitation was held Sunday, July 28, at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home and Monday, July 29, at Tabor Lutheran Church. The funeral service was held Monday, July 29, with Pastor Paul Scheunemann officiating. Hilda will be interred in St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery.
