WHY IT MATTERS: The Bonduel High School football team (5-1, 3-1 Central Wisconsin Conference-8) and Shiocton (5-1, 3-1 Central Wisconsin Conference-8) come into Friday’s game tied for second place in the CWC-8 behind undefeated Amherst (6-0, 4-0). Both teams need just one more win to become playoff eligible. Bonduel was blown out at Shiocton 47-0 last year when the Chiefs went on to win a WIAA Division 6 title. Bonduel has not beaten Shiocton since a 21-6 win at home in 2010.

WHERE: Shawano Community High School
WHY IT MATTERS: The Shawano Community High School football team (3-3, 2-3 Bay Conference) plays its homecoming game against Luxemburg-Casco (4-2 3-2 Bay). The Hawks must win two of its last three games of the season to have a chance to make the postseason. With undefeated Menasha (6-0, 6-0) looming next week, the games against Luxemburg-Casco on Saturday and Denmark (3-3, 2-3) in the final week of the season look like must-wins if Shawano wants to make its first post-season appearance since 2010.
