Kaden Richards scored five fourth-quarter points playing in his first varsity game and Zack Sousek hit a layup with six seconds left to help Shawano beat Green Bay West.
Sousek finished with eight points for Shawano (5-2, 3-2 Bay Conference) Monday in Green Bay. Zeke Gueths led the Hawks with nine points and eight rebounds.
Jeff Drake scored a game-high 11 points to lead West (3-5, 2-2 Fox River Classic).

Waupaca 48
Clintonville earned its first Eastern Valley Conference win of the season Tuesday against visiting Waupaca.
After taking a 25-13 first-half lead, the Truckers (2-4, 1-4 Eastern Valley) held off a fourth-quarter rally by Waupaca (3-5, 2-3).
Tyler Petermann paced Clintonville with 23 points and nine rebounds. He also had two assists and three steals. Damon Lorge added 14 points.
Anthony Blackwell had 18 points for Waupaca. Bre’on Sease and Brando Vasquez each had 12 points.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood 59
Wausau West 55
Wittenberg-Birnamwood outscored Wausau West 12-8 in overtime after the two teams finished regulation tied, 47-47, in a nonconference game Tuesday night in Wittenberg.
“We had plenty of chances to win the game in regulation, but didn’t shoot very well from the free-throw line,” Wittenberg-Birnamwood coach Mike Balliett said. “Erica White Eagle hit two free throws to send it into overtime.”
Siri Zeinert led Wittenberg-Birnamwood (8-0, 4-0 Central Wisconsin Conference-8) with 17 points. Corrissa Konkol scored 14 points.
Jasmin Samz had a double-double to lead Wausau West (2-6, 2-1 Wisconsin Valley Conference) with a game-high 31 points and 10 rebounds.
