The opening game of a Bay Conference doubleheader went to the 10th inning before the Hawks scored the winning run Thursday.
Chase Henning had three hits for Shawano (15-10, 9-7 Bay Conference). Ky Schmidt and Tasa Grignon had two hits each.
Dylan Sumnicht earned the win in four innings, allowing two hits and striking out one.
Jimmy Jackinowicz took the loss for Marinette (6-15, 5-11 Bay Conference), pitching two innings and allowing two hits along with the game-winning run.

Grant Wainio pitched a complete-game win for the Hawks in the opener of a doubleheader at home Thursday.
Wainio had six strikeouts and allowed three walks with one hit over six innings, while Tasa Grignon had two hits for the Shawano offense.
Luke Johnson took the loss, pitching all seven innings and allowing seven hits and striking out three.

Kalen Fischer had four hits and three RBIs in Gresham’s road win Tuesday.
Derek Bowman pitched the win for Gresham, going four innings and striking out five while allowing 15 hits.
The Wildcats improved to 12-6 overall on the season and 12-6 in the Central Wisconsin Conference-10.
Marion dropped to 2-17 overall and 1-17 in the CWC-10.
