Oconto Falls held the Phantoms scoreless through the first five innings, but lost a 1-0 pitchers’ dual Wednesday at West De Pere.
West De Pere’s Brendan Meissner struck out 11 Panthers, allowed three hits and issued no walks.
Evan Sigmund struck out six hitters, walked one and also allowed three hits by the Phantoms (20-5, 14-2 Bay).
Riley Gruetzmacher was 2 for 3 for the Panthers (12-8, 8-8 Bay Conference).

Lena’s Jagiello 5th at Rosholt sectional
Senior Christina Jagiello of Lena/STAA took fifth in the pole vault Friday at the WIAA Division 3 sectional in Rosholt, clearing the bar at 8 feet, 6 inches.
Lena/STAA tied for 20th among 27 teams with Shiocton, Coleman, Manawa and Wabeno with four points.
Newman Catholic won the girls sectional with 98 points, Wild Rose (81) was second and Spencer (63) took third.
